A bowl by the English Grindley factory from the Marlborough Royal Petal series, with the signature used between 1936 and 1954, made from high quality porcelain. The bowl has a wavy gilt rim with a rich burgundy background, with intricate leaf and acorn designs. It has rubbing of the gilding and a scratch.
