A rare bone china set by the Royal Doulton Winter label, from the Brambly Hedge range. Bone china finished in a highly polished, glossy glaze. The motif on the cup on one side is two mice in a cottage by a bubbling fire, on the other side of the cup are four mice looking out of a window. Inside the cup the motif is a mouse made of snow holding an acorn pipe. The saucer and dessert plate depict scenes from the teacup, framed by a garland of winter rose hedges. The set is finished in light blue.
