Decorative Italian Murano vase, made from high quality Murano glass in the 1960s. The vase is made using the Sommerso technique (sinking coloured layers of glass one into the other) creating striking colour transitions. Hand-moulded, the vase is characterised by its organic, sculptural shape with a wavy top edge and twisted form. It has damage at the base.
