A dessert plate by the English Grindley factory from the Marlborough Royal Petal series, with the signature used between 1936 and 1954 , made from high quality porcelain. The plate has a wavy gilt rim with a rich burgundy background, with intricate leaf and acorn designs. It has rubbing of the gilding and a crack in the glaze on one plate.
