A platter by the English Grindley factory from the Marlborough Royal Petal series, with the signature used between 1936 and 1954, made from high quality porcelain. The platter has an oval shape, a wavy gilt rim with a rich burgundy background, with intricate leaf and acorn designs. It has gilt rubbing and scuffing to the underside.
